I’m Carles Busquets, a physiotherapist and co-founder of ACTIVA – Centre Sanitari. My approach to physiotherapy is built on the combination of continuous learning, clinical experience, and working in high-performance sporting environments such as RCD Espanyol. Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to support people with very different backgrounds and goals: from patients looking to regain confidence after an injury to athletes aiming to return to competition or improve their performance. This experience has taught me that no two injuries are the same and that achieving good results requires understanding not only where the pain comes from, but also the person, their context, and their individual needs. For this reason, I base my practice on a thorough and personalised assessment, scientific evidence, and clear, honest communication. I believe it is essential for every patient to understand what is happening, what the recovery process involves, and how they can take an active role throughout it. At ACTIVA, my goal is to provide physiotherapy that is approachable, precise, and focused on results. Treatment should go beyond reducing pain: it should help restore function, prevent recurrence, and give each person the tools they need to move with greater confidence, independence, and security. My commitment is to continue learning, improving, and providing high-quality care tailored to each patient and every stage of their recovery.
