2. Scope of this policy
This policy explains processing associated with activa-centresanitari.cat. The website is for information only: it has no forms of its own and does not ask for or collect medical data. It does not provide online healthcare consultations.
Appointments are booked on the external Doctoralia platform. When users access it, Doctoralia processes data under its own privacy policy and terms. This document does not describe healthcare or clinical processing that may take place outside the website.
3. Data and purposes
- Browsing and security: the server may generate technical data such as IP address, date and time, requested resource, browser and error logs to deliver the website, prevent abuse and diagnose incidents.
- Consent management: Cookiebot stores cookie preferences so that the user's decision can be respected.
- Analytics: if statistical cookies are accepted, Google Analytics 4 processes online identifiers and technical and usage information to produce aggregated statistics. Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.
- External services: Google Maps and Doctoralia content only load after the relevant consent. Users may instead choose to open the providers' links directly.
- Voluntary contact: if a user emails or starts a conversation by telephone or WhatsApp, identification and contact details and the content provided will be processed to answer the enquiry. We recommend not sending medical data through these channels.

- Doctoralia Internet, S.L., when Doctoralia content or its external platform is used;
- WhatsApp Ireland Limited, when the user chooses to make contact through WhatsApp;
- public authorities and courts where required by law.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. In such cases, processing is subject to the safeguards stated by the provider, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
6. Retention
- Technical logs are kept for the period needed for security and incident resolution, according to the provider's settings.
- The Cookiebot preference is stored for 12 months.
- Google Analytics cookies may last for up to 2 years; analytics data is kept for the period configured in the GA4 property.
- Direct communications are kept until the enquiry is resolved and afterwards for the time needed to address potential legal liabilities.

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by writing to info@activa-centresanitari.cat and stating which right you wish to exercise.
